This is the cover of the first Music Album I recorded myself on my garage when I was only 17 years old. The album was released Sumer of 2005
It all started with Dad coming home with a recording software called (Home studio) from Cakewalk. He has always shared his passion for Music with the entire Family and when he was trying to read the Manual I had already press all the buttons and settings on it, I would go trough pop up messages so fast that he would get so mad at me for not letting him read it (makes me giggle still) but thanks to him I started learning about the art of recording and feel in love immediately. Dad purchased our first Condenser Microphone and we had so much Fun with it, then the Midi Keyboard next thing you know I had take over his computer and gear as he would always go to work and come back to a computer with different settings every time, ( Those Pentium Computers where fun! ) so he just let me go with it and helped me build a really small booth in my tiny room, and thats how it all got started. Couple years later thanks to his love and support I released my first Music Album titled “Agua De Nade” a song my Dad wrote for me which stands for “Nobodys Water” go figure!
I was so exited to have my own recording studio and when I released the Album I was ready to take over the world and sell my CD to everyone and start my own record record label and to become a Famous Singer as I always imagined, so many dreams to achieve! So I did! I called everyone I knew and offered my Album to find out not so many shared the enthusiasm when it came time to purchase it.
It probably took the first 50 (No Thanks) to realize this wasn’t gonna be that easy and honestly felt really discouraged when not too many wanted to buy one or support, but luckily I was playing with a Youth Mariachi every weekend and that was the best way to offer my CD so with hard work and dedication every single weekend and not taking my food brakes most of the time I sold about 3000 copies within the first 2 years had to learn and understanding how to smile and sell fast during my breaks.
I hold every memory in the process very dear to me and consider this Album my Classic and feel very proud and grateful with my dad for supporting me with my dream of creating Music and with everyone that said yes and supported me by buying one of my CDs.
